David Barron’s professional experience includes the Telecommunications, Software, Hardware, Semiconductor, Media & Entertainment and Consumer Electronics industries. In recent years, he led Next Level Networks which revolutionized the way that ultra-high-speed broadband fiber networks are deployed and was Head of Corporate & Business Development at Cable Television Laboratories (a Cable Industry technology consortium). He has extensive experience in the management of corporate alliances, joint ventures and co-development efforts as well as in contributing to due diligence assessments for strategic investments, and M&A.
Drew Lentz is a community connectivity advocate, solutions architect and all around wireless nerd. With a passion for closing the digital divide, he has consulted on thousands of networks from WISPs to Wi-Fi and deployed community solutions across the globe. Currently an Engineering Product Manager for wireless at Cisco, he continues his work pushing for innovative approaches to connectivity for users of all types and encourages communities to focus on problem-solving technologies that provide opportunities for everyone.
Breakfast Media LLC CEO Drew Clark has led the Broadband Breakfast community since 2008. An early proponent of better broadband, better lives, he initially founded the Broadband Census crowdsourcing campaign for broadband data. As Editor and Publisher, Clark presides over the leading media company advocating for higher-capacity internet everywhere through topical, timely and intelligent coverage. Clark also served as head of the Partnership for a Connected Illinois, a state broadband initiative.
Reporter Jake Neenan, who covers broadband infrastructure and broadband funding, is a recent graduate of the Columbia Journalism School. Previously, he reported on state prison conditions in New York and Massachusetts. He is also a devoted cat parent.
