The specialty of the swiss49 service is that we take over the whole flight event review work for you, instead of providing a ‘software only’ service like other operators. This means you get fully-fledged flight safety summary
reports including flight operational safety recommendations from swiss49 on a recurring basis. This is especially helpful for airlines with lean-staffed flight safety departments, since the service enables your
airline to immediately become regulatory compliant and you can concentrate your labour force on the airline’s
daily business.
The swiss49 service is fully internet-based, which means no investments in new infrastructure

Flight-data processing and analysis service
The long-term flight-data processing and analysis service by swiss49 allows an airline to monitor and
steer its operational efficiency related to fuel-efficient flying of pilots, flight planning comparisons versus
actual flights, extra fuel surveillance versus destination weather, holding delay analysis at destination
airport, aircraft performance monitoring (fuel bias), cross-aircraft and cross-fleet comparisons, flight
track-distance surveillance for fuel planning and ATC over-flight charges, and many more topics.
Furthermore the indefinite storage of in-flight data and full reprocessing capabilities allow a quick and
easy compilation of warranties/guarantees, facts and figures to deliver to engine and airframe
manufacturers.
Flight-efficiency event detection
Flight-efficiency event detection allows you to track non-efficient flights and in-time reaction on unnecessary
non-optimal flights and/or pilots’ behaviour. The highest possible degree of statistical accuracy is reached
by measuring each parameter (usually up to 2,000) of all the aircraft’s in-flight data for every second and
every flight and therefore being able to provide statistically significant efficiency results. Quick and easy
before/after comparisons allow trending and quantifying efficiency improvements even in the 0.1% order
of magnitudes.
Currently swiss49 is servicing low and high-cycle customers, including an intercontinental commercial airline in
the Middle East operating (among other planes) Airbus A340s, and a well-known European aircraft management and service company operating over 100 aircraft.
