AIS Aviation Information & Services Part 147-Approved Aircraft Maintenance Training

AIS Aviation Information & Services is an EASA Part 147-approved training organisation. With highly qualified instructors who have long-term experience in heavy maintenance, line maintenance and flight simulator training, AIS provides aviation training for aircraft maintenance staff.

Tailored aircraft maintenance training

Independent from any airline, AIS brings maintenance training to you that is individual, flexible and tailored to suit your requirements. The training can take place at the AIS training centre near Bremen, Germany, or at the client’s place of work, worldwide. AIS technical maintenance training is in accordance with the rules of the Air Transport Association (ATA) specification 104. AIS provides courses in accordance with EASA Part 66 / Part 147 and EASA Part 145.

Part 147 / Part 66 aviation training for aircraft maintenance staff

AIS offers EASA Part 147-approved training courses and customised training in the AIS training centre or worldwide at the client's place of work; the training is specialised for the following aircraft:

  • Airbus A310 – Level I, II
  • Airbus A318 / A319 / A320 / A321 – Level I, II, III
  • Airbus A330 – Level I
  • Airbus A340 – Level I

We offer open training courses for the Airbus A318 / A319 / A320 / A321 (CFM56 or IAE V2500) EASA Part 66 airframe / power plant category B1, for which single places can be booked.

  • GE CF6-50 (Airbus A300 basic model) category B1.1
  • GE CF6-80 (Airbus A310-300 / A300-600) category B1.1
  • PW4000 (Airbus A310-300 / A300-600) category B1.1
  • CFM56-5 (Airbus A318 / A319 / A320 / A32) category B1.1
  • IAE V2500 (Airbus A319 / A320 / A321) category B1.1
  • PW4000 (Airbus A330) category B1.1
  • CFM56-5C (Airbus A340) category B1.1

Specialised aviation training

AIS also offers Part 145 training and specialised training:

  • Borescope inspection training CFM56-5 or IAE V2500
  • Engine run-up course CFM56-5 or IAE V2500
  • Fuel tank safety
  • Basic of oxygen
  • Human factors training per EASA 145 (initial)
  • Human factors training per EASA 145 (continuation)

Aircraft and aircraft component configuration tracking

Aircraft Documentation & Organisation Controlling (ADOC) is software developed by AIS to track aircraft and aircraft component configuration. The software was developed in cooperation with approved Part 145 organisations for small to mid-sized aircrafts and helicopters. ADOC is being refined continually.

With ADOC you can plan maintenance, track life-limited parts and overhaul able parts. You can record current times, cycles, landings, calendar and life limits. ADOC will generate the remaining life of aircraft and aircraft components. ADOC is in accordance with the requirement of CAMO.
