Today, a high number of passengers on board carry their personal electronic device. To meet this demand, Vision Systems has developed an application making possible for airlines to offer in-flight entertainment and cabin management, on passenger owned handheld devices.
Easy to use, the passenger loads the VisiSmart application giving access in streaming to video, music, news, from the aircraft media center and enabling also to pilot lights and shades all through their PED’s. All the multimedia content, cabin management and connectivity can be hosted in one unit, the VisiBox.
With the VisiSmart passenger could also pilot Vision Systems innovative smart shading system, ‘Noctis’: a polarizing solution for passenger enabling to control at every level light entering in the cabin and to switch instantly from transparent to blackout.
For the passenger comfort, Vision Systems has conceived a compact and silent motorized deployment arm for tablet, called ‘Smart Up’, integrated in the passenger armrest. Ready to be installed in all type of seat, the screw clamping system is adapted for portrait and landscape use and the screen orientation is adjustable.
