Already based in France and the UK, Vision Systems is expanding its international presence through a strategic location in the US.
With major players of the business aviation industry being already based in the US, Vision Systems takes the necessary steps to assist leading aerospace companies, including HondaJet, Gulfstream and Embraer.
This new site will also facilitate trade development opportunities in all of Vision Systems’ market segments: aeronautics, automotive, marine.
As a first step, by next summer, the adaptation of the existing buildings will be carried out to set up office spaces, production workshops and a clean room for the production of smart solar protection systems, such as polarising solutions. Secondly, during the fourth quarter of the year, Vision Systems will install specific machinery for series production.
Two expatriates from Vision Systems in France will join the American structure and the group seeks to recruit ten local employees by the end of the year.
This new 1,200ft² facility is made possible thanks to the financial support of the state of Florida and the city of Melbourne.
"We felt it was essential for Vision Systems to be located in America," said Carl Putman, president and CEO of Vision Systems. "The office in Florida will enable us to be closer to our customers in America and to expand our business activities in this area."
