Vision Systems will present two new innovations at the Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA) in Las Vegas 22-24 October.
The green solution, Energia, is a unique dimmable window that produces its own energy from the sun. This self-powered polarising window combines three technologies: the SPD (suspended particle device) technology to regulate in less than five seconds the amount of light, UV and heat transmitted through the window, the very thin and light composite glass solution Xlite and the WysipsGlass technology. This consists of transparent photovoltaic cells integrated into the glazing that allows energy storage in a battery to provide the dimmable window with electricity. This light integrated autonomous solution will help reduce fuel, installation and maintenance costs.
Vision Systems’ other electronically dimmable windows presented are Nuance, Noctis and Eclipse, which confer instant and precise light-control through a control panel directly on the window or on personal device (tablet, smartphone). These solutions are suitable for retrofit and new constructions, glass or thermoplastic, flat or curved windows. Easy to maintain (integrated electronics) and lightweight for increased fuel efficiency, Vision Systems’ smart windows also enable lower cooling costs as they are dark when unpowered.
Motorised pleated and roller shades as well as cockpit sun blinds and sun visors come and complete Vision Systems’ solar protection range.
Vision Systems’ quality IFEC solution VisiBox distinguishes itself by featuring one single box that offers complete functionalities in terms of cabin management, broadcast, AVOD, streaming, connectivity and WiFi. This easy-to-install light bespoke and scalable solution provides intuitive interfaces and adapted screens and tablet holders. The solution allows up to 20 tablets to work in streaming simultaneously.
