Just in time for the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, TITAL – Titan Aluminium Feinguß GmbH released the new website in three languages for its customers. Beside information on the company, business fields and production technologies the visitor will find additional news and useful downloads.
During the Paris Air Show TITAL has once again presented the latest developments of aluminium and titanium investment casting. The 40sqm stand offered customers as well as interested visitors the opportunity to get a good impression of the high quality of the titanium and aluminium investment castings produced by TITAL. The exhibited Intermediate Case reflected impressively the competence of TITAL regarding aluminium investment castings. The Intermediate Case weighs more than 36kg and had been produced on the basis of a rapid prototyping model. All gear tests with this investment casting had been executed to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
Moreover, TITAL showed a number of structural aluminium investment castings of the Taurus KEPD 350 with a length of more the 2.5m. The complete airframe with a total length of more than 6m was too large for being exhibited within the hall. TITAL delivers exclusively 120 sets per year with a total weight of 200kg, fully machined, surface treated and pre-assembled, directly to EADS.
Most importantly, TITAL and Airbus signed a supply agreement for titanium investment castings for the military transport aircraft A400M program. On June, 17th 2005 the managing director of TITAL, Philipp Schack, and the Airbus Commodity Manager, Daniel Innocente, signed the contract on the TITAL stand. Philipp Schack: “This agreement is an important milestone on the way of our long strategically partnership with Airbus”.
Tital reviews on a very successful week and looks forward to participating again in 2007 at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget.
