Radiant Vision Systems will be holding a live, half-day session about “Using Photometry-Based Systems for Advanced Vision Inspection”.
The free session will be about leveraging photometry-based systems to solve the most challenging machine vision inspections.
The seminar will be led by Radiant Sales and Marketing vice president Hubert Kostal and will include live, engineer-led demonstrations of machine vision applications using Radiant’s latest software to evaluate complex parts for obscure and subtle defects.
The seminar will be held on 12 October from 10:00-13:30 in San Jose, California, US.
Radiant’s photometric imaging solutions bridge the gap between machine vision systems and true human vision, with camera-based technologies that leverage Radiant’s expertise in light and colour measurement for the greatest acuity in automated visual inspection.
Radiant cameras capture images with the greatest pixel detail and broadest grayscale values, enabling inspection software to detect defects with a level of precision and reliability unachievable by either human perception or machine vision cameras.
Incorporating technical advantages from Radiant’s 25-year legacy in photometric imaging, including superior CCD optics, “Just Noticeable Difference” measurements, absolute colour, and uniformity analysis, Radiant’s advanced vision systems are able to detect minute visual differences in a way that replicates human visual inspection for detecting and classifying random defects in random locations, while acquiring the quantifiable data needed for automation.
Attendees of the advanced vision seminar will learn:
- Fundamental advantages of photometry-based vision systems for matching human visual perception
- The components of a successful vision system
- Applications and considerations for addressing the most challenging image-based evaluation of assemblies, part surfaces and particles in transparent substrate
Demonstrations of inspection applications will be provided throughout the seminar using Radiant’s advanced vision software. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss applications with Radiant throughout the seminar.
The seminar is free of charge and lunch and refreshments are provided.
