The force gauges of the PCE-DFG series can measure tensile and compressive forces. The measurement ranges and resolutions are 0 to 5N / 0.0005N (PCE-LFG 5), 0 to 10N / 0.001N (PCE-LFG 10), 0 to 20N / 0.005N (PCE-LFG 20) and 0 to 500N / 0.05N (PCE-DFG 500). All models have an accuracy of ±0.1 %.
These force gauges have a MIN and MAX function, as well as a limit function and a calibration function. Different measurement units can be selected. As many as 1000 readings can be saved to the device automatically or manually. To save energy, the device has an automatic power off function which can be adjusted and notifies the user when the battery must be replaced. The force gauge can also be powered by a mains adaptor which comes with the device.
The measured data can be read out from the graphical display which also shows the current date and time. For further analysis, the data can be transferred to a computer by means of the USB data cable and evaluated using the PC software, both included in the standard delivery.
Any of the models come with a chisel head adaptor, a flat head adaptor, a pointed head adaptor, a hook adaptor, a notched head adapter, an extension rod (90 mm), an evaluation and control software incl. USB data cable, a mains adaptor, an instruction manual, a factory calibration certificate and a carrying case.
