After 25 years, the Diamond AVIM connector is joining forces with new AVIM products to become the AVIM Family, which will be released officially later this month. It is designed and developed for aerospace applications that require high optical performance, coupled with vibration and shock-enhanced resistance.
The new AVIM Family is comprised of the following products:
- AVIM
- MIDI-AVIM
- MINI-AVIM
- MICRO-AVIM
In addition, all of the AVIM mating adapters and accessories, such as hybrid mating adapters, Interface Modules (IMOD) or multipurpose adapter systems (MAS) are now part of the AVIM Family.
A new AVIM Family datasheet will be released in early May. The new datasheet will contain details of all connector variations within the AVIM Family as well as the tools, inspection procedures, and accessories related to them.
