Visitors to the Aero Engineering show at Birmingham’s NEC, held on the 9-10 November 2011, will have the chance to meet Bruel & Kjaer UK’s technical team.
Bruel & Kjaer UK will be exhibiting its latest industrial and aerospace equipment on stand 804 (hall 20), including the unique 12-channel data analyser, LAN-XI 3053.
LAN-XI 3053 has a frequency range from DC to 25.6(kHz) making it ideal for a wide range of acoustic and vibration measurements, including structural measurements on large structures, such as wind turbines.
As part of the LAN-XI family, it can be upgraded to a stand-alone recorder to make high-quality data recording supremely simple in situations where a normal PC could not survive, such as in-flight, in-vehicle testing or other harsh or restricted environments.
Also on display will be Brüel & Kjær’s conditioner / amplifier 1704-A, which provides two channels of CCLD (constant current line drive) power for CCLD transducers such as charge accelerometers (using Type 2647 Inline charge amplifier), accelerometers, microphones and tacho probes.
CCLD conditioning offers users the advantage of allowing the transducer power to be delivered using the same coaxial cable that the transducer uses to return the measurement signal, thus reducing cabling costs and improving noise immunity – especially when compared to using multi-conductor cables.
Brüel & Kjær is a leading supplier of sound and vibration solutions for use in many industries, including automotive, aerospace and consumer. The company manufactures microphones, accelerometers, conditioning amplifiers, calibrators, sound-level meters and software.
