Quality management systems complying with EN / AS 9100ff are becoming more and more important in the aerospace industry. All EN / AS 9100ff certified companies are listed in the OASIS database (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System). This list is now increasingly seen as a prerequisite in order to be admitted as a supplier for the aerospace industry.
AHC Benelux BV in Venlo has now successfully completed the audit for certification according to EN / AS 9100ff. This opens further opportunities to AHC for coating components for the civil or defense-related aerospace industry.
AHC Benelux specialises in the surface treatment of aluminium components by hard anodising (HART-COAT®), anodising, chromic acid anodising, yellow chromating (ALODINE 1200) as well as the chrome free passivation Surtec 650. Ferrous metals are electroless nickel-plated (DURNI-COAT®) or hard-chromed (tubes for suspension technology), not forgetting the whole range of lubricant coatings, so-called synergetic coatings to reduce friction and wear.
In the medium term, AHC Venlo will also introduce tartaric acid sulphuric acid anodising (TSA), anodising in a mixture of wine and sulphuric acid, to replace the Cr (VI)-containing electrolytes.
The plant in Eindhoven completes the services on offer with surface treatments such as gold, silver, nickel / tin, electroless nickel on aluminum and titanium.
