Aerospace Optics, one of the industry’s leading manufacturers of LED pushbutton switches and indicators, will provide demonstrations of its new VIVISUN LOGIC SERIES during the National Business Aviation Association’s 62nd Annual Meeting & Convention in Orlando Oct. 20-22. The LOGIC SERIES is the first switch of its kind based on an integrated logic circuit.
“The LOGIC SERIES is designed to simplify and improve operator interface,” said Craig Morgan, vice president of sales at Aerospace Optics. “It has a solid-state circuit that allows different poles in the same switch to function as momentary or alternate action, but unlike other switches, it does the job without external relays or holding coils. The internal circuit also gives the LOGIC Series the ability to be locally or remotely set or canceled, which is beneficial for engineers and pilots.”
At NBAA, Aerospace Optics will set up a cockpit and cabin simulation to illustrate what happens when the pilot activates the LOGIC SERIES switch. Demonstrations will be continuous throughout the day, and anyone who is interested in seeing the LOGIC SERIES first-hand is encouraged to visit Aerospace Optics in booth 5129.
Aerospace Optics will also provide live demonstrations of the Configurator, which was unveiled to the avionics industry during the 2008 NBAA convention. The Configurator is an online part specification system that enables the user to select complete part numbers and request a quote 24-7. It is designed to simplify the ordering process for Aerospace Optics’ customers.
