AD Aerospace produces the FlightVu range of state-of-the-art aircraft video safety and security systems. The FlightVu range starts with the CabinVu “entry level” system, consists of video cameras located over the cockpit door and in the galleys linked to a monitor on the flight deck to improve pilots situational awareness.
This is expandable to a full “FlightVu Witness” system, with camera coverage throughout the passenger cabin. The complete Witness system uses a FlightVu digital video recorder/server to record the images for future use in investigation, analysis and prosecution, and can also be seamlessly integrated with ground based security systems using satellite links. Other systems in the FlightVu range provide security in baggage and cargo holds, against tampering and theft, and for parked aircraft or enhance safety with video smoke detection.
AD Aerospace CabinVu Video Systems offer airlines and airframers the most efficient and cost effective way of increasing safety and security throughout an aircraft. CabinVu equipment is available for retrofit under STC across a wide range of commercial airliners and is available as production options on Boeing, COMAC and XAC aircraft.
CabinVu customers include; British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Icelandair, GECAS, ILFC, Neos, Orient Thai, Comair, Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa Technik, Hong Kong Express, Hong Kong Airways, bmi, JetBlue, Thomsonfly, Air Asia, Corsair, easyJet, AeroSvit, Air Europa, Germania, TUIfly, and Thomas Cook amongst many others.
