Fidelity Flight Simulation Incorporated (F2Si) will build a Beechcraft King Air C90 Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) for Guardian Flight. It will also upgrade Guardian Flight’s Beechcraft Super King Air B200 AATD, which is located in Alaska, US.
Both devices are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
Guardian Flight’s Hawaii location has a need for an effective training device with the foundation for future updates and upgrades. F2Si will apply past King Air family aircraft simulation experience with the development of an expandable baseline AATD design capable of future development. The training device will be a fixed-base AATD with an enclosed cockpit complete with actual Garmin GTN 625 equipment, and a detached Instructor Operator Station (IOS).
F2Si will also upgrade Guardian Flight’s Super King Air B200 MOTUS® full motion simulation device manufactured by F2Si in 2008. This will include upgrades to the current computing and visual system that will extend the life-cycle of the device and continue to provide realistic flight immersion training to Guardian Flight’s Alaskan air ambulance critical care transport pilots.
