Fidelity Flight Simulation Incorporated (F2Si) and TRU Simulation + Training have entered a long-term agreement to develop and deliver ten Cessna 172S flight training devices (FTDs) at Levels 5, 6 or 7.
Recent market research shows a growing need for C172S training devices to meet the projected growth of pilots entering the aviation industry. According to the agreement, F2Si will serve as the supplier of the C172S training devices.
The agreement includes producing ten C172S FTDs. The first device will be a Level 6 and is scheduled to be delivered in March 2020. The agreement will end after the delivery of the tenth and final unit in October 2022.
