Cobham Aerospace Communications will be exhibiting at the International Paris Air Show 2017, one of the oldest and largest aerospace exhibitions.

Slip rings for helicopters
Cobham Aerospace Communications designs and manufactures light and compact electrical slip rings to be used in helicopter rotors. The slip rings allow the transmission of data, while the company provides de-icing versions of slip rings, which heat, fold blades and activate navigation lights.
Due to the extreme conditions that helicopter slip rings must withstand, the design and choice of materials and manufacturing processes are critical.
